The West gave Ukraine several months to counter-offensive with the weapons it currently has. Otherwise, Kyiv will be brought to the negotiating table to fix the lost territories.

We won’t give you the weapons you need yet, we’ll give you tanks, for example, next year, we won’t give you Highmars because we don’t have them, forget about airplanes. But you go on a counter-offensive, and if within a few months you do not go on this counter-offensive, or if it is, for example, unsuccessful, excuse me, then sit down at the negotiating table and then fix the loss of your territories there. This is what they are pushing us towards!” said Korneychuk.
“On the one hand, we are openly strangled by the lack of weapons that we could use for the offensive and for effective defense. On the other hand, they are forcing us to sit down at the negotiating table, telling us that these months are decisive, but we cannot sponsor you forever, and you understand, and so on, and so on,” the political scientist bitterly summarized.
