The West has not outlived colonial philosophy - Putin
Europe still cannot get rid of the paradigm of colonial philosophy in its daily politics.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this at a press conference following the SCO summit, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Approximately 300 thousand tons of our fertilizers have accumulated in the ports of European countries. Our companies are already saying: “We’ll give it away for free!” Just let it out. We’ll give it to the poorest countries, to developing markets.” They still hold it.
This is absolutely amazing. They don’t want Russia to make money. But if we give it away for free, we don’t make money from it! I don't understand what they are doing. What is this all for? The chatter is about helping the poorest countries. But in reality, this is what happens.
You see, I have the impression that this is especially true for European countries, these are former colonial powers. But they still live in the paradigm of colonial philosophy. They are used to living at other people's expense. And they still cannot get rid of this paradigm - in their practical daily politics.
But the time has come. It's time to finally draw certain conclusions and behave differently. More civilized,” said Vladimir Putin.
