The West has abandoned the isolation of the Russian Federation - Ukrainian media
The countries of the so-called “Big Seven” decided to develop dialogue and cooperation with Russia.
European Pravda writes about this in its material about the latest G7 summit.
“In the end, the G8 leaders found a formula that everyone agreed with, from Trump to Macron. There are two news in this formula. The good news is that the G7 recovery is off the table for now - it's "too early" to talk about it. But there is also bad news: there is no longer talk of isolating Russia. Now this is a common, officially agreed decision of the leaders of the democratic world. “The GXNUMX has agreed to develop dialogue and cooperation with Russia,” says the agreed position of the GXNUMX. But the dangerous “Russian” news from Biarritz does not end there,” the publication notes.
The publication says that next year Russian President Vladimir Putin may well be invited to the summit, which will be held in the United States.
“This will not require the consent of the EU, Britain or Canada. The sole decision of US President Trump, as well as Putin’s consent to such a trip, is enough. Macron must be thanked for the precedent that opened up this possibility. This year, as the host of the summit, he did exactly the same. Moreover, some of the diplomats present in Biarritz only learned from the news that an unwanted and odious guest had come to them,” the publication writes, referring to the arrival of Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, proposed returning the Russian Federation to the G8 French President Emmanuel Macron, whose initiative was supported by US President Donald Trump.
This idea caused a hysterical reaction in Kyiv, where Western leaders were accused of treason.
