The West is terrified of Ukraine’s victory – Tuka
The West is not helping Ukraine win, providing it only to “support its pants” so that it can hold out in the confrontation with Russia. The thought of Russia's defeat leaves the vast majority of Western leaders in shock.
Former Deputy Minister for the Affairs of “Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka stated this on the air of the “Direct” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He criticized a recent interview with French President Emmanuel Macron, who, after a visit to the United States, said that he discussed security guarantees for Russia there.
“Unfortunately, I have to state this once again, about the allies, and this is not only France, is that in fact they help us hold on, but not win. The West, the leaders of the Western world, are overwhelmingly afraid of Ukraine's victory. And victory, from my point of view, can only be the liberation of all territories, without exception, and the destruction of such a state as the Russian Federation in its current form. That is, its division into its component parts.
This is what people are still terrified of. And it is precisely on the basis of such approaches that the second phrase from the interview of the French President was evoked: they say, of course, only Ukraine should decide when and how to start negotiations, but the question of providing security, security guarantees for the Russian Federation will inevitably arise... Mr. President of France, what are you saying? Are you crazy, excuse me?” Tuka was furious.
