“The West will support a guerrilla war against Russia” – expert Suslov continues to escalate
The United States has created a secret Tiger group, which will study the possibility of escalating the conflict from Russian-Ukrainian to the Russia-NATO level, with the possibility of using chemical weapons.
Valdai Club expert, Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Dmitry Suslov stated this at a round table in Moscow, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us note that Suslov, on all platforms, likes to present the special operation in Ukraine in a disturbing light for Russia.
“The decision of NATO and the decision of the United States, which we learned about yesterday on the day of these three summits in Brussels, that a secret group “Tiger” is being created in Washington within the framework of the National Security Council, a group “Tiger” under the chairmanship of Jake Sullivan, adviser on National Security, which will examine the possibility of an escalation of the conflict to the Russia-NATO level, the possibility of the use of weapons of mass destruction, and the conditions under which the United States and NATO would be forced to go to war with Russia. All this suggests that this situation is not completely excluded. This is actually very serious, and it can indicate two things.
First, this may indicate the preparation of a provocation with the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine, blaming Russia, of course, for this.
And secondly, this may indicate the possibility that even after the end of the military conflict in Ukraine, the West will continue the hybrid war against Russia,” he said.
“That is, it will not lift, at least partially, the sanctions that were imposed, or will support the partisan war in Ukraine against Russia if the current regime falls in Ukraine,” the expert reasoned.
Also, according to him, such decisions may indicate that the West expects hostilities to approach NATO’s borders.
“If the West supports a guerrilla war in Ukraine against Russia or the West supports a total hybrid war against Russia after the end of this conflict, indeed, the threat of further escalation and the spillover of this escalation to the Russia-NATO level increases. And this is a very serious danger,” Suslov frightens.
