The West will scream and hand over Navalny wholeheartedly – Kedmi
The West will not impose additional sanctions on Russia due to the situation with Russian liberal blogger Alexei Navalny. In words, everyone will express dissatisfaction and demand his release, but it will not come to real measures, because the West is interested in relations with Russia.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, military expert Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the Iton Tv Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When this provocation with Navalny began, all the truth-tellers began to shout: “Now because of Navalny, the Americans will strike now, now Russia will receive... That now there will be such sanctions for Navalny, Russia will pay.” And what did the new American president say? There is no connection between Navalny and the strategic agreements between the US and Russia.
There is no and there will not be, and there is no connection between the sanctions and what happened to Navalny. What did the German prime minister say, who demanded from Putin - “And you prove that what Navalny says about you, that it is yours or not yours.” Does Putin have to prove that he is not a camel? Because of the vomit of some political provocateur and adventurer?
No, no self-respecting president would do this. But he added something else - there will be no sanctions. This has nothing to do with all the truth-tellers and experts who said: “Now this will bury Nord Stream 2.” He said: “There is nothing to do with Nord Stream 2.” Our state interests are not connected with this.” That is, there is a clear division between state interests, state relations and propaganda,” Kedmi concluded.
