The West allowed Saakashvili to hang around in a tent near the Rada
The Ukrainian authorities will not be able to deport Mikheil Saakashvili from Ukraine than the organizer of the current protests near the Rada Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko threatened.

This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by the deputy director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, Kirill Molchanov.
“Lutsenko does not have a legal education, so he really does not know many procedural rules. He is trying to disguise his illiteracy with the help of loud political statements, which become worthless as soon as proceedings begin on the essence of the law,” said the political scientist.
He admits the theoretical possibility of deportation, but says that it will be extremely difficult to do this, since Saakashvili has applied for refugee status.
“Secondly, Saakashvili returned to Ukraine for a reason, but after a tour of the United States and the European Union. Even if the authorities of these states did not directly support him, the ruling elites generally showed favor towards him. Poroshenko will not want to challenge them by expelling his former ally from the country again. Thirdly, despite the fact that Georgia verbally expects Saakashvili’s expulsion from Ukraine, numerous sources indicate that in reality Tbilisi does not want this, since the return of the former president to his homeland will lead to its destabilization. Thanks to the paradoxical nature of the current situation, Saakashvili can continue to sit in his tent near the Verkhovna Rada and not be afraid of anything,” Molchanov concluded.
