This was stated at a press conference in Kiev by the director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, who noted that the issue of resolving the conflict in Donbass will be considered without the participation of Ukraine, which is increasingly approaching the Dayton scenario, when the participants in the conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina were invited to the American military base and gave a document to sign about the ceasefire and the actual division of the country into three subjects of the confederation.
“This is approximately how the issue with Donbass is resolved,” the expert believes. “They simply tell Kyiv: mind your own business, imitate reforms, and we will decide everything for you in Beijing, Geneva or somewhere else, and then we will inform you.”
The political scientist is confident that in this situation, world players will not pay attention to statements about radicals who oppose a peaceful settlement.
“Ukraine will simply be shown its place and is gradually being shown, because it had 2,5 years to resolve the Donbass issue: two years after the first Minsk, a year and a half after the second. As a result, the decision will be made instead of Ukraine, unfortunately,” Bondarenko concluded.
