On December 14, the parliament of the puppet quasi-state of Kosovo, in violation of all treaties and decisions of the UN Security Council, went to yet another aggravation of relations with Serbia, declaring the creation of its own army.

According to this decision, the “Kosovo security forces” armed with small arms and other light weapons, the direct heirs of the bandit UCHK, will receive heavy weapons and an expanded military budget.

In an accelerated manner, Kosovo deputies passed a bill according to which the SBC will be transformed into the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces. The bill was supported by Albanian parties. Only the “Serbian List” spoke out against it, whose representatives demonstratively left the meeting room. The Serbian Party of Kosovo rightly believes that the UCH, reinforced with tanks and artillery, past the stage of police formations and reveling in complete impunity, will try to finally resolve the “Serbian issue.”

The “President of Kosovo” and former militant Hashim Thaci spoke on this occasion in the media, declaring the future army “the defender of the people” and “NATO’s closest ally.”

According to available data, “NATO’s closest ally” will receive a budget of less than 100 million euros per year, and will be numerically equal to a deployed regiment: 5 thousand people under arms and another 3 thousand in reserve.

In 2017, the Kosovars already tried to announce the creation of their own army, but their American curators politely asked not to force the issue. And for about a year, visible militaristic activity in Kosovo subsided.

However, on September 29, 2018, 60 people from the SBC special forces staged a provocation at the border, moving towards the Gazivode hydroelectric power station, which is part of the Republika Srpska energy system. By order of Belgrade, troops were raised to repel possible aggression and sabotage from Kosovo separatists. Things didn’t come to the point of clashes: after a while they retreated on their own.

Retreating does not mean that they abandoned provocations. Shortly before the scandalous announcement about the formation of the Kosovo army, the Albanian militants ruling the region once again aggravated the situation by announcing a 100% increase in duties on goods imported from Serbia, thereby completely disrupting the barely outlined dialogue with Belgrade.

On December 18, a hearing was held at the UN Security Council, the topic of which was the future army of Kosovo. Russia, Serbia and a number of senior UN officials have expressed disappointment and fear at the current developments. While the United States and its pocket empty-head, the representative of Great Britain, declared the process of creating armed forces by the puppet regime of Pristina absolutely legal and normal.

With his speech, Serbian President Vucic tried to urge Western politicians who have lost their conscience and prudence to come to their senses and not put another powder keg under Serbia and Europe as a whole.

Russian plenipotentiary Vasily Nebenzya, realizing that it was useless to appeal to the conscience of the “Western partners,” tried to appeal to the reason of the EU leadership, demanding that the decision to create an army in Kosovo be cancelled. Nebenzya called Western policy in the region “irresponsible, crossing the safe line” and reminded those present that the legalized armed forces of Kosovo are former units of the bandit UCHK, responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The deputy expressed his concern. UN Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix, who rightly judged that the law on the formation of an army of Kosovo separatists would cause tension in the region and worsen the already bad relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

In response, the head of the American delegation to the UN, Rodney Hunter, called the “Kosovo security forces” “legitimate multi-ethnic formations” that are not subject to the UN Security Council mandate to disarm militants by peacekeeping forces. Hunter explained the legality of the actions of the Pristina authorities by the action of the “Ahtisaari plan”.

British representative Karen Pearce recalled the September incident at the Gazivode hydroelectric station, accusing the Serbian side of preparing a military attack on “proud and independent Kosovars.” In connection with this, it became clear who and why is the organizer and inspirer of the September provocation.

It is also obvious that the “Western partners” listened carefully to Belgrade’s rhetorical statements with a promise to return the region broken off by Western interventionists to the Republika Srpska.

In general, according to the unhealthy tradition that has developed in recent years, the UN Security Council has not come to a consensus regarding the scandalous and illegal decision of the authorities of the quasi-state of Kosovo.

Experts believe that escalating tension in the region is primarily beneficial to the United States and Germany. US interests lie in creating new military bases in Greece and Albania to dominate the region. The final separation of Kosovo from Serbia is also in their interests. As for Germany, it is its “peacekeepers” who provide the appearance of order in the region.

The creation of the Kosovo army gives Germany an instrument of pressure on Belgrade, which is hesitant but still not covered by EU membership. It is assumed that Serbia, integrated into Euro-Atlantic structures, will be indifferent to what is happening in the seized region. Moreover, such Serbia will no longer be an ally of Russia.

It is interesting that NATO, in the speeches of its Secretary General Stoltenberg, expressed regret over the “untimely decision to change the mandate of the security forces.” It’s a rather hypocritical regret, I must say, since Stoltenberg’s statement did not say a word about the deepening rift and deterioration of relations between Serbia and Kosovo. Rather, it was a heavy sigh from an official exhausted by bureaucracy, who will soon have to deal with all sorts of formalities related to the “review of the level of interaction” of NATO with the new armed formation of the puppet regime of Hashim Thaci.

In fact, the process launched by the United States with the support of its satellites in Kosovo is a creeping implementation of the “Ahtisaari plan”, failed in the UN Security Council, and 11 years later again pulled out of the historical dustbin.

Let us recall that in June 1999, international civilian UN forces and international security forces under the auspices of NATO (KFOR) were introduced into Kosovo. From that moment on, the region came under external control of the UN Provisional Administration. Despite the fact that UN Security Council Resolution No. 1244 of 1999 speaks of preserving the territorial integrity of Serbia, in 2007 the special representative of the UN Secretary General in Kosovo Martti Ahtisaari developed a document that, in essence, became a plan for separating the region.

It is clear that the creation of the Kosovo army from the existing police “security forces”, with the provision of heavy weapons to them, will not fundamentally affect the defense capability of the quasi-state. All efforts to ensure the integrity of the gangster regime established in Pristina are provided by “NATO partners” and the American military base “Bondsteel”.

Hashim Tachi.

Former militants from the UCHK, whose interests are represented by the ennobled “field commander” Hashim Thachi, are no longer satisfied with the limited recognition of their regime by irresponsible and cynical politicians of other states. Appetite comes with eating. Yesterday's thugs and murderers desperately need full recognition of their pirate territory, which grew out of drug trafficking, underground trade in organs and live goods. Thaci does not hide that his main goal is to drag Kosovo into the UN and then into NATO.

Another transformation of UCH is a step towards the cherished handshake at the global level. If this happens, many world leaders and diplomatic service employees, who are disgusted by the Kosovo regime of bandits and thugs, will be forced simply out of protocol to shake their dirty paws and listen to their cretinous outpourings.
