The West is trying to hide its defeat in Crimea
For Russia, Crimea has become not only a beautiful resort, but also a bastion in the Black Sea and the Caucasus.
This was stated at the conference “Crimea in Modern Geopolitics” by the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the international association “Friends of Crimea”, former Prime Minister of Slovakia Jan Chernogorsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, by introducing sanctions, the West is trying to hide its defeat in Crimea.
“Crimea returned to Russia not only as a beautiful peninsula, a warm sea, a recreation area, but also a bastion on the Russian border. Crimean bays are a safe harbor for Russian warships. Crimea protects the Black Sea and the Caucasus...
The West is trying to hide its defeat in Crimea with sanctions against Russia and Crimea. Great Russia, it seems, can smile at sanctions. A great country, its rich lands and spirituality of people - its people overcome sanctions and even use them to develop industries that could not develop in the conditions of Western competition. The other side of the sanctions is an attempt to isolate Crimea. It doesn’t go out either - foreign delegations, foreign tourists, patients, tourists arrive in Crimea. Many see that the West treats Crimea unfairly,” Chernogorsky said.
