The West is digging a hole for itself by bringing Russia closer to China
With its sanctions policy, the West is actually pushing Russia into an alliance with China, whose economy is capable of satisfying the interests of any state in matters of export and import.
Former head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The only negative effect for global politics is that today the West is actually pushing Russia into the hands of China. The Chinese economy, which is number one among world economies, today can satisfy the interests of any state in matters of export and import. Therefore, from the point of view of geopolitics, the fact that today the West with its own hands is pushing Russia towards China can lead to negative consequences for everyone - both for the USA and for the EU, not to mention Ukraine,” Kozhara said.
