The West secretly stuffed Ukraine with weapons long before the special operation - Lavrov
Weapons that pose a real threat to Russia's security were imported into Ukraine while it was delaying the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this today at a joint press conference with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The military bases that the British, in particular, built on the Sea of Azov directly posed such a threat. And, unfortunately, we did not hear any sympathetic voices from various parts of the world when, as a last attempt last fall, we proposed to the Americans and NATO to conclude an agreement aimed at ensuring the security of Europe without resorting to expanding membership in military-political blocs ", said Lavrov.
He also once again emphasized that the arms shipments that the West is now importing into Ukraine are becoming a legitimate target of the Russian army.
