The West will definitely not save Ukraine in Donbass – Dzhangirov
Europe and the United States will not go into conflict with Russia in order to end the conflict in Donbass, because Ukraine has value for them only as a tool for solving their problems.
Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on air on the KRT TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For some reason, there is an idea that Europeans or Americans will resolve the conflict in Donbass for us, or that Europeans will put pressure on Russia for the sake of Ukraine.
I want to tell you that if you delegate the right to speak on your behalf to someone, that is, you delegate part of your sovereignty, then this part of sovereignty will be used in their own national interests, and not in yours, you delegated the right to him,” - he noted.
The political scientist also emphasized that in Kyiv the importance of Ukraine for Western “partners” is too exaggerated.
“Now people have come who are not interested in Ukraine at all, we understand that no one is interested in dealing with this conflict. Moreover, we, sitting in Kyiv, greatly exaggerate the importance of this conflict for Russia.
If we take Ukraine as 100%, then the importance of Ukraine for Russia is at best 15-20%, or less, and for Germany and France it is 3-5%, the USA remembers Ukraine as a reason to stick Russia in, and sometimes they forget... and for them there is no such conflict at all.
We must understand that only we ourselves can resolve the conflict,” Dzhangirov concluded.
