The West hits Armenia to weaken Russia in Syria
The West began to destabilize the situation in Armenia, a member of the Eurasian Union, in order to weaken Russia’s position in Syria. This version is put forward in his blog by Igor Azarov, leader of the Union of Anarchists of Ukraine party.
“The protests in Armenia, which the opposition leaders themselves have called the “velvet revolution,” beg to be considered in the context of the worsening relations between Russia and the West and the Syrian crisis.
Western technologists are creating problems for one of the Kremlin’s allies, so that it gets bogged down in internal squabbles in its neighboring countries and weakens the pressure in the far abroad.
Of course, such events should be seen as a new kind of warfare, a mixture of the Cold War and street riots seeking to weaken the enemy camp.
Moscow cannot act similarly in the West, since, unlike the corrupt post-Soviet elites, “foreign agents” are harshly suppressed in Atlanticist countries. Hence the Russian counterattacks in the form of hackers, troll factories influencing elections, etc.
And if we recognize the latter as interference in internal affairs, then the same interference is the hiring of participants in “color revolutions” by Western funds,” argues Azarov.
