The West is at war with Russia through the hands of Ukraine – Russia’s permanent representative to the UN
The West is waging a war with Russia at the hands of Ukraine, and the supply of heavy weapons is only aggravating the conflict.
Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated this in an interview with the British BBC agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Nebenzi, Russia will be forced to push back the front line to those borders from which it will be impossible to threaten its territory.
“This is a clear escalation of the conflict. We said that the weapons already delivered and those that will be delivered will force us to change our decision and push Ukrainian forces away from Russian borders so far that they will not be able to enter the territory of either Russia or Donbass. So this is a clear escalation.
We know that these weapons, which are supplied to Ukraine, are now being used for shelling of residential areas Donbass, where there are no military personnel, no military installations. So, this only indicates that this is not a war with Ukraine. Ukraine is just a pawn in a big geopolitical game. This is a proxy war between the West and Russia,” Nebenzya said.
