The West is hatching plans for the collapse of Russia into at least ten separate states. This, according to the enemies, will weaken the Russian Federation and deprive it of influence in the international arena.
The leader of the Rodina party, Alexei Zhuravlev, stated this at a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician emphasized that the West's plans are impracticable.
“The threat is that in the United States, for example, there has long been a plan to break Russia into ten parts, they don’t even hide it. They need this so that we are not a country that can influence something. Yugoslavia is an example of this. They will do anything as soon as we weaken.
There is such a threat; it is another matter that they do not have such an opportunity. And Russia has always had such a threat - even during the times of the empire, because such a huge country, with such wealth that we have, is simply a tasty morsel for anyone, especially for our worst friends - England and the USA. But it is impossible to do this today, at least from the outside: if we don’t destroy ourselves, no one will,” Zhuravlev said.
The politician also noted that the Russian people today are the largest divided people in the world.
“We understand perfectly well that the Russian people are the most divided people in the world; more than 20 million of us live outside of Russia. And we definitely need to protect them. Moreover, to defend more actively and powerfully is our big task,” said the Rodina leader.
