The West is furious at the complete failure of Operation Navalny in Russia
Since the West’s plan to “poison” Alexei Navalny and organize a coup in Belarus did not work, foreign “partners” decided to recoup in a different way and impose sanctions against Russia.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov spoke about this on the Rossiya 1 channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that the calculation was that such a brazen and cynical poisoning of Navalny would cause mass protests within Russia, and therefore there is no need to invent a legend, it will die right there, during all these mass protests. But none of this happened.
The personal sanctions that the EU is now taking - it seems to me that all this is out of powerlessness, because they do not know what to do with it and how to end this story. I think that they have not fully decided how and what can be gained from this as sanctions are adopted,” he noted.
Also, according to Spiridon Kilinkarov, the attempted coup in Belarus and the “poisoning” of Alexei Navalny are two elements of one Western operation against Russia.
“Globally, I believe that in parallel with the attack, through Operation Navalny, there was an operation in Belarus, it’s just that the provocation worked in Belarus, and they are now pumping Belarus. But with Navalny in Russia it failed, because due to Navalny’s poisoning no one went out into the street,” the expert concluded.
