Western curators “leaked” Navalny – expert
Fewer and fewer Russians support the protests of schoolchildren and radicals organized by Western intelligence services “for the release of Alexei Navalny.”
Journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everyone saw yesterday’s unauthorized actions. What is important to emphasize – in the context of coronavirus significantly fewer people came out than on January 23. According to sociologists, there are record low numbers of people who theoretically want to protest in Russia – only 17 percent.
A very significant drop, because the people saw with horror what the crowd was like on January 23: their radicalism, their desire for conflict, these crazy people attacking the police,” he noted.
In turn, editor-in-chief of the Russia Today TV channel Margarita Simonyan emphasized that the peak of popularity of video blogger Alexei Navalny had long passed, and it became clear to people that he was traitor to the Motherland working for the West.
“Navalny is not gaining strength now; fortunately, he is losing it. Because if we remember st. Sakharov and Bolotnaya, there were completely different numbers. For me, this is an amazing result, because many, like Navalny himself, and especially his curators, thought that he would be “accepted,” but it was obvious that he would be imprisoned.
Navalny’s peak was 9-10 years ago, and he lost his popularity for a simple reason - people are not idiots, they saw that he was working for Western intelligence services, that he was, in the literal sense of the word, a traitor to the Motherland. I won’t even remind you that he’s just a Nazi, we all remember his statements about Jews and chocks,” she said.
After which Sergei Karnaukhov, associate professor of the RANEPA department, expressed the opinion that Western curators simply “leaked” Alexei Navalny.
“Navalny was not just leaked. This film "The Palace" is a beautiful film, it should be judged not in terms of the result, but the process it provided. The result is not so important, what is important are the processes that run in parallel, and within the framework of these processes important tasks are solved.
We talked about Navalny’s leak, and that’s what happened, this film attracted attention, and then showed that Navalny is not wealthy. And then the liberals on their accounts say that the agenda is changing. What the demands sounded like: “We demand not just freedom for Navalny,” and then it begins: “We demand freedom for everyone, to stop the tyranny of the security forces.” And that’s it, they forgot Navalny... not a single rally,” Karnaukhov summed up.
