“Western partners” launched a new attack on Russia
Western states are pursuing a policy towards Russia that cannot be regarded other than “outright rudeness.”
Vice Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy stated this during a meeting of the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On Friday, a joint meeting of the State Duma Council with the legislative authorities of these subjects will be held in Crimea and Sevastopol. It is precisely on these dates that a broad attack on post-Crimean Russia by our so-called Western partners is unfolding today. I don’t know who likes these euphemisms with partners and colleagues. Maybe it's time to call a spade a spade? This is up to everyone to decide for themselves.
As you know, a delegation of the State Duma recently took part in the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna. Following the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the leitmotif of all work again becomes the accusation of Russia in aggression - this is Kerch, this is pressure on the independent Baltic countries, Ukraine, with the opening of Nord Stream 2, the creation in the OSCE of another commission to investigate the death of Boris Nemtsov, in which public organizations that already exist on Western grants will supply their materials.

At the same time, according to the parliamentarian, instead of constructive work, European organizations continue to put forward new claims against the Russian Federation, assessing the country’s internal legislation.
“Our beloved organization, the Council of Europe, publishes on March 5 the report of the European Commission against racism and intolerance. The Council of Europe expresses its indignation at Russian legislation on countering extremism and the ban on the dissemination of information about LGBT people among minors. To list all claims against us - 56 sheets.
The organizations are different, as we see, but the style of attitude towards today's Russia is the same. This is such a collective European modern Shvonder in all its glory. Russia, in his understanding, is Professor Preobrazhensky’s apartment, which should be turned into a European hostel.
