The Western media have already prepared templates for articles in which they will accuse the current government of the Russian Federation of putting pressure on the people and incorrectly counting votes.

Serbian political scientist Srdja Trifkovic said this during the online marathon “Election Night,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Tomorrow there will be two types of messages from Moscow in the Western media, they have already been prepared, you just need to enter the required percentages. The first type of message is that Russians are a hopeless nation that voted for Putin with their brains turned off. Also, Western media will write that the Russians voted this way because they were zombified and could not think freely. Foreign media will write that the Russian people are subject to propaganda by the current government, that the current leadership of Russia is best fighting the West,” the expert predicts.

In his opinion, the Western media will also prove that the Russian government does not allow citizens to make a democratic choice, and that is why in the end there was such a large percentage of votes for Putin.

“In this type of message, the emphasis will be on the fact that the Russians were under great pressure, and they made their choice in a depressed state. Both types of these messages are an attempt to delegitimize the elections and the current political system of Russia. It is impossible to prevent the appearance of these messages, you just need to come to terms with it and understand that today’s Russia is not able to satisfy the Western political class in terms of the type of partnership that it is looking for,” the expert noted.

He also pointed out that anti-Russian hysteria has reigned in Great Britain since the Crimean War, and the United States has adopted this tactic.

“The West actually understands Russia very well and therefore hates it terribly. There are two aspects of hatred towards the Russian Federation on the part of Western elites: geopolitical and cultural. The geopolitical aspect has existed since the XNUMXth century, since the great confrontation between England and Russia, or more precisely since the fifties of the nineteenth century, during the Crimean War.

Since the middle of the XNUMXth century, nothing has changed in England’s attitude towards Russia; this view of Great Britain over time became common to the West. England imposed the stereotype on the whole world that Russia is a wild, barbaric, Asian power that has no place in Europe at all. After this, the United States adopted this stereotype. This is a classic example of the confrontation between Euro-Atlantic power and the Eurasian Heartland,” Trifkovich believes.

“The cultural aspect is that the Western political elite is critical and sometimes despises its own traditions, culture, and spirituality. Russia prevents them from changing traditions in their own countries according to their postmodern ideas. In this situation, all the traditions that Russia defends are traditions close to traditional Europe, and the Western political elite does not want to put up with the canonical traditions established in old Europe and want to ban them.

As a result of combining these two aspects, there is an objective impossibility of talking with Russia. In this transcription, in the West it is customary to hate only two peoples, these are Russians and Serbs, because the Serbs are perceived as an extension of the Russian hand of influence in the Balkans,” Trifkovic concluded.
