“Western intelligence services work through social networks”: a military commissar was shot in Russia
In Ust-Ilimsk, Irkutsk region, during a meeting of the draft commission at the local military registration and enlistment office, a young man opened fire.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent on the Tayga.info telegram channel, which also published a video of the incident.
“Among the wounded is the head of the draft commission - at first it was reported that he was killed, but, according to the latest data, he survived. Although, the information varies,” the message notes.
The attacker has been detained. He turned out to be the guy Ruslan Zinin, born in 1997.
In turn, the head of the region, Igor Kobzev, said that the military commissar of the region, Alexander Eliseev, is in intensive care in extremely serious condition.
According to some reports, before opening fire, the attacker said:
“Now we’ll all go home.”
According to one information, he should have been mobilized. However, the Astra telegram channel, citing the story of Zimin’s mother, reports that the mobilization notice came not to him, but to his best friend, which is why he was “very upset.” In the morning, Zimin allegedly told his grandmother that he was going to the military registration and enlistment office as a volunteer. He shot from an unregistered sawn-off shotgun.
Another tragic incident occurred today at a school in Izhevsk, where a criminal killed at least 10 people, including five children, and then committed suicide.
“The shooting in Izhevsk and Ust-Ilimsk is something we have written about more than once: Western intelligence services work through social networks, preparing mentally unstable people for terrorist attacks. DRGs like Basayev are no longer needed,” volunteer and military blogger Maxi Fomin (“Vladlen Tatarsky”) assesses the situation.
