The West needs to pray that Putin remains in power - ex-Rada deputy
Russian society believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin is too soft on the West and Russian oligarchs, so pushing Western politicians to overthrow the current government of the Russian Federation is very stupid.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Markov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The West is still trying to displace Putin. I am amazed at the stupidity of these people. Don’t they understand that if Putin leaves, then someone will come in comparison with whom Putin will seem like a lamb of God to them? Do they not see the mood of society? Don’t they understand that many people believe that Putin acts softly, very, very affectionately, very restrained? Did they decide to destroy 150 million people? They won't succeed, they'll die faster. Are there really no literate people there?” he asked.
“There is also a question about oligarchs. They are smart people, they have earned a huge amount of money, they consider themselves masters of life. Don’t they see that there are those who can take away both their money and real estate in one second (in the West - ed.)? The only one who can be the guarantor of their well-being is the Russian state and the Russian army, and the Russian people. We must do everything for the victory of our army,” concluded Markov.
