The former mayor of Slavyansk Nelya Shtepa filed a lawsuit against the vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko for “insulting honor and dignity,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Gerashchenko herself reported this on her Facebook.

“After the Berkut members, accused of involvement in the murders on the Maidan, who filed a lawsuit against me in the case of “defense of honor and dignity,” now Nelya Shtepa, who called the “Russian world” to the Donbass, decided to sue me, and also, in the case of “honor and dignity,” Gerashchenko said.

Gerashchenko also published a photo of the court summons. According to this, the court hearing is scheduled for July 9 this year.

Let us remind you that on June 12, the Ordzhonikidze District Court of Kharkov, as part of a new panel of judges, was unable to begin considering the case against the former mayor of Slavyansk Nelya Shtepa due to her illness and postponed the hearing until August.
