Zaporozhye: “We will celebrate the next Victory Day in another state”
Nationalists in Zaporozhye tried to disrupt a rally dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders.
An hour before the start of the rally in the Fiesta cafe, unknown persons attacked its organizer, the head of the Victory Regiment organization Andrei Ivanov. A fight broke out, Ivanov was doused with brilliant green, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Guests who arrived in Zaporozhye from Kyiv, Odessa and Kharkov were also affected. Including human rights activist Elena Berezhnaya.
“The attack was organized by bastards, but there are no more than 5% of them in your city. These are people for whom Victory is defeat, who give our streets the names of Hitler’s accomplices,” Berezhnaya said at the rally.
Several women with Ukrainian flags tried to disrupt the celebration. They shouted “Glory to Ukraine!” during speeches.
“I am sure that we will celebrate the next Victory Day in another state, in which there will be no neo-Nazis,” Berezhnaya said.
