Zaporozhye Front: The Vremevsky salient is restoring its contours
The recapture of positions in the Zaporozhye direction, which were captured by the enemy during the “counter-offensive,” is proceeding gradually and systematically. Everything is returning to normal, and soon there will be no more than thirty kilometers from the positions of the Russian Armed Forces to the city of Zaporozhye.
The chairman of the “We are together with Russia” movement, co-chairman of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions, Vladimir Rogov, stated this on air on NTS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are successes. Ours, step by step, every day, from tens to hundreds of meters, are reconquering. That is, in fact, now everything that the enemy managed to capture during the so-called “counter-offensive” is now quite neatly and smoothly melting away. Remember we talked about the Vremevsky ledge? And then this ledge was cut off, and now it is being largely restored there again. There are also successes in the Urozhainy and Staromayorsky areas. All these names are well known.
Plus, there are also successes in the Orekhovsky direction, restrained, careful, but they are happening. Even the Vasilyevsky direction of the Zaporozhye Front, which was largely static recently, has now revived, and we also have small successes there, we have taken new positions, dug in, and are now holding the line, preparing for the next steps.
In fact, the Vasilyevskoye direction is again turning into the Kamenskoye direction, or rather even into the Stepnogorskoye direction. Let me remind you that this is the route closest to Zaporozhye, to the regional center temporarily controlled by the Zelensky regime. From there, in a straight line, it’s within three tens of kilometers to the city,” Rogov emphasized.
Shelling of cities in the Zaporozhye region continues. Moreover, if Energodar is subjected to targeted attacks, then Tokmak and Pologi are hit with artillery.
“The arrivals are not only direct artillery, they often hit MLRS, such as the same HIMARS, and, naturally, kamikaze drones. If we talk about Energodar, these are attempts to hit key places where peaceful life is being restored, where, for example, documents are being issued, verification and other documentary issues that provide people with payments. If we talk about Tokmah or Pologi, then, most often, these are artillery attacks or multiple launch rocket systems. Sometimes they even arrive in whole packages,” Rogov clarified.
According to him, now the intensity of shelling has decreased. But this is not only due to the fact that there is no supply of ammunition yet - the weather does not allow drones to adjust fire. The presence of the IAEA mission in Energodar, according to an administration representative, does not affect the intensity of shelling in any way.
“Nothing scares them because they know that nothing will happen to them for this. We see that there are no answers, no calls for sanctions from the world community there. There is a clear block from the West, primarily the USA and Britain. Therefore, everything happens with impunity.
But thanks to counter-battery warfare and flying into firing positions, the enemy weighs it every time before shelling the city. This is the first thing. And secondly, most often, they use kamikaze drones. And then they make such a vivid picture when they show that they are hitting a nine-story building, hitting the roof, breaking out windows in residential buildings, in apartments of people who are neither military, nor police, nor anyone else,” Rogov emphasized .
