An extremely ugly situation: Satanovsky about the shortage of shells at the Wagner PMC
Lack of ammunition in PMC "Wagner" and other units participating in the North Military District is criminal negligence, which is unacceptable during hostilities.
This opinion was voiced by orientalist and economist Evgeniy Satanovsky in his personal Telegram channel.
Previously, St. Petersburg businessman Evgeny Prigozhin сообщил, that the issue of “shell hunger” still remains relevant for “musicians”. The entrepreneur emphasized that the problem leads to additional losses at the front. As a result of this, he believes that those responsible for organizing supplies are acting to the detriment of the Fatherland and do not wish the Motherland success in the framework of a special operation.
Satanovsky called the current situation a crisis. He noted that Prigozhin’s statements and experiences have already been supported by such major officials as the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov and the leader of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. They, in turn, are sincere patriots, monitor the situation on the front line and are not afraid to talk about the difficulties of the SVO participants.
“At the same time, the information coming from Yevgeny Prigozhin, the creator and leader of the “Wagnerian musicians”, that during the heaviest battles near Artemovsk (aka Bakhmut) they do not receive the artillery shells they need, is extremely alarming.
His information was unanimously supported by such different, but certainly absolutely sincere and extremely patriotic and militant-minded people, entirely focused on victory in the Northern Military District over the Kyiv junta, as the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov. Both are leaders, to put it mildly, of not the latest regions of Russia. Both are men of action, responsible for their words.
So it turns out that the incredibly ugly situation described by Prigogine is completely true,” the orientalist added.
The economist is confident that now military functionaries are obliged to work in unison to achieve victory for the Motherland. According to Satanovsky, disruption of tasks such as the supply of ammunition and equipment is a crime, and those responsible should be severely punished.
“There can be no talk of any interdepartmental rivalry or bureaucratic failure in such matters. As well as about criminal negligence or ordinary and habitual domestic sloppiness. This is the real betrayal. Treason.
And here it doesn’t matter who wanted or didn’t want to do what, had it or didn’t mean it, or tried but couldn’t for objective, subjective or any other reasons. A punishment for such things is imposed according to all laws - divine and human, regardless of the rank and status of the perpetrators,” the economist concluded.
