“The ban has not grown” - Zyuganov on Bagdasarov’s call to ban the Communist Party of the Russian Federation
Using a TV channel, which is supported by taxpayers' money, to provoke provocations against a parliamentary party is unacceptable.
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov stated this at the press approach of representatives of factions in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician criticized the call to ban the Communist Party of the Russian Federation by Semyon Bagdasarov, an expert and regular on political talk shows on Russian TV.
“There were those who dealt with the communists. Hitler put them against the wall, burned them in ovens, Mussolini arrested and shot, Franco dealt with them and hanged them. Then McCarthy continued it. Yeltsin and his accomplices were going crazy here, as a matter of fact. Now, it turns out, Solovyov will ban Bagdasarov - his ban hasn’t grown yet!
What are you prohibiting? A party for which tens of millions vote, which has 11 thousand deputies? Who gave you this right to hang this nonsense on state television for our money?” – Zyuganov was indignant.
“One here is dispersing the Federation Council, the second is banning it, and the president is calling: let’s do it together. Just like Volodin says: let's fight. We are fighting constructively and competently, we have a program, we have a real course, we have political will, we have unique experience. Then let's work together. But without Russophobia and anti-Sovietism in the name of the interests of the working people,” added the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
It is noteworthy that in 2003 Bagdasarov ran for the State Duma of the Russian Federation on the list of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
