Having banned Russian medicines, Ukraine buys these same medicines at exorbitant prices through foreign intermediaries
Ukraine overpays millions of hryvnia, purchasing Russian medications through English intermediaries.
Journalist Vasily Apasov writes about this in his blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As evidence, he provides scanned copies of excerpts from the registers confirming his words.
The scheme occurs as follows - Ukraine, through the mouth of the Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun, having refused to purchase from the Russian Federation, turns to the English purchasing agency CROWN AGENTS. It, in turn, announces a tender, in which LLC Diagnostic System, a subsidiary of the Russian company NPO Diagnostic Systems LLC, wins.
“According to the constructed scheme, the Russian company producing the test system has facilities in Nizhny Novgorod. The Ukrainian company is just a cover. Knowing this (and it is impossible not to know, since a wide range of all documents are provided for participation in the auction), CROWN AGENTS supplies us with goods from the Russian Federation. Does the principled Suprun, who allegedly squeezed out everything Russian, including the anti-botulism serum, which is simply vital for Ukraine, know about this? Naturally he knows,” Apasov comes to the conclusion.
