“The climate of intimidation towards the opposition reached a new peak when the “militant” journalist Igor Guzhva, editor-in-chief of the website Strana.ua, was arrested for his position,” the publication quotes an excerpt from the Italian newspaper Il Manifesto.
We are concerned about the case against Guzhva in Germany as well. Thus, one of the largest German newspapers, Die Tageszeitung, published an article about the arrest of the editor-in-chief of “Strana” and the fabrication of a criminal case against him, indicating that Guzhva is “one of the most famous dissident journalists in Ukraine.”
