Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov spoke about this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“You cannot explain in the same way why migrant workers are not released. If they are selling the ashes of Nikolai Kuznetsov, how can they release living people?

Returning to the issue of oligarchy, no one expected such an economic effect from labor exports. Even when visa-free travel was adopted, no one expected that this would happen,” Kilinkarov noted.

“But it happened, workers brought 12-16 billion dollars to the country. But processes also took place within Ukraine. What happened: in fact, people abandoned their trowels and left for Poland. But the oligarchs remained: who will work for us? For pennies.

And now, of course, they will tighten the screws so that these people are forced to remain in this country and do not have the opportunity to migrate somewhere,” explained the former people’s deputy.

“Because at the moment when they had this outlet, they were forced to raise their salaries, and when they said: this is our achievement... It was a necessary measure! They paid exclusively for their peaceful sleep. There was no talk of any concern for people; these were purely economic factors that forced them to make some decisions.

Therefore, of course, they will try to somehow keep these people in the country, despite the high unemployment rate. So this high level of unemployment allows these people to be exploited within the country for meager wages. That’s the whole story,” Kilinkarov added.
