Salaries and pensions in the DPR will rise to the level of Russia
By January 1, 2022, the level of pensions, wages of public sector workers and civil servants of the DPR will be increased to the level of the Rostov region.
This is stated in a statement by the head of the republic Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In conditions of stable growth of economic indicators, I instructed the government of the Donetsk People’s Republic to bring the level of republican pensions, wages of public sector workers and civil servants to the level of the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Taking into account the preparatory work that has already begun, the process should be completed by January 1, 2022.
The increase will be carried out in three stages: from January 1, 2021; from July 1, 2021; from January 1, 2022. At each stage, pension payments will increase by an average of 20%, wages of public sector workers - by 28%, and civil servants - by 18%.
I would also like to note that we will make every effort to bring the salaries of our miners and metallurgists to a comparable level,” Pushilin assured.
