A meeting of the Lvov City Council turned into a mass fight over garbage
Today's meeting of the Lvov City Council turned into a mass brawl. The reason was the vote of deputies for the creation of a waste compaction line in each district. Residents of Ryasnoye, in particular, opposed this - they plan to compact waste there at the former Selmash plant.
Outraged citizens burst into the hall after the deputies made a decision. The brawl took place during the performance of the Ukrainian anthem, which is played at the closing of the sessions.
Let us remind you that in recent months Lviv has been faced with the problem of garbage removal - local landfills are overfilled and closed, the capital of Galicia is trying to export waste to other regions, which causes protests there.
