The worms have begun to stir: Ukraine faces a second wave of tomosobesia
The possible appointment of Andrei Yurash as head of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, who, as head of the Ministry of Culture’s Department of Religious and National Affairs, refused to register dozens of religious organizations, suggests that representatives of the previous government have recovered from Poroshenko’s defeat in the elections and launched a counter-offensive.
The head of the Third Sector center, Andrei Zolotarev, stated this in a conversation on the InterVizor channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As is known, Yurash put pressure on other government officials and stated that the state could take away the Holy Dormition, Kiev Pechersk Lavra and the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
“This is one of the iconic figures, along with Vyatrovich, who pumped up the ideological agenda of the previous government. Considering that this category of people is unsinkable, we see that by hook or by crook they are trying to make him the main commander on religious issues.
This is an adept of the Great Tomos sect. It doesn’t quite fit into the new realities. It is enough that they worked in the realities of that tomosobesky last year of Poroshenko.
In a country where there are already enough conflicts, they decided to introduce a religious conflict for the sake of political dividends. Fortunately, their cartridge flew by.
But it is obvious that they have moved away from the knockdown and are trying to go on a counter-offensive, to impose this Orthodox Church of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
Behind him is Pinchuk's Minister of Information Borodyansky, who is again trying to impose the renaming of churches. This does not bode well for the country.
This once again shows that there is idiocy in the country. The country is in need of modernization; instead of modernization, decommunization and tomophobia are being imposed.
The customers for all this are outside Ukraine; they don’t feel sorry for the Ukrainians. Therefore, by hook or by crook, they push out this character, odious, but who is one of their own for them,” concluded Zolotarev.
