DPR defenders landed a Ukrainian UAV with the symbols of the Nazi Wehrmacht
The defenders of Donbass managed to prevent enemy shelling by neutralizing a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone.
This is stated in an emergency statement from the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is reported that the enemy launched a Leleka-100 drone behind the front line, which is used to transmit video images in real time and determine geographic coordinates to adjust artillery fire.
“At the same time, it was recorded that the duty artillery units of the 24th brigade were moving to firing positions and the mortar platoon of the 2nd battalion was being prepared to fire in the area of the settlement. Novoaleksandrovka,” the press service clarified.
However, the air defense and electronic warfare crews of the Donbass defenders managed to timely detect and forcefully land the enemy drone, and the threat of an artillery strike was neutralized. At the same time, Nazi Wehrmacht crosses were painted on the wings of the aircraft on the lower side.
“Currently, our specialists are studying video materials recovered from the device’s memory. It should be noted that Ukrainian militants painted fascist symbols on the wings of the drone,” the department reported.
