Donbass defenders are outraged by the PR of deputy Milonov
Donbass defenders are outraged by the behavior of State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov, who announced that he was leaving as a conscript to the front, but at the same time regularly appears in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Journalist Marina Akhmedova points out this in her blog, recalling how Milonov previously claimed that he was known on the front line under the call sign “Gustav.”
“Junior Sergeant Gustav was seen in St. Petersburg. According to him, he came to the military registration and enlistment office. Before that, Gustav was seen in Moscow. Why the junior sergeant came to the capital is known. Visited the Kremlin.
Even earlier, Gustav told reporters that he was mobilized into an anti-tank battery near Gorlovka and promised to fight diligently. Was caught on camera firing a gun and that was it.
Deputy Milonov, aka Gustav, just slightly promoted the fact that he is on the front line.
And on the front line, people sit up to their ears in mud for months, do their work and laugh at Gustav, who is here today, there tomorrow. It is impossible to behave this way, especially for a State Duma deputy.
From the very beginning it was clear that Milonov was not going to fight, but these jokes were simply insulting to those on the front line, and whose faces did not know the cameras. Yes, unlike Gustav, they don’t need it. They care about this for the wrong reasons,” Akhmedova nailed the politician.
However, in fairness, it must be recalled that RT military correspondent Alexey Larkin previously argued that Milonov adequately helps the defenders of Donbass.
“Vitaly Milonov has been traveling to Gorlovka for 8 years. Every 3-4 weeks he is there. He brought tons of humanitarian aid, every dog on that section of the front knows him. At a certain period, he was officially a DPR soldier. He performed, albeit not super complex, but real combat missions, was on duty, observed, etc. Of course, not every day, but during his visits. But he did, that’s a fact. I saw a bunch of videos on his phone that were never posted anywhere; he never boasted about being on the front line. Then he was asked to resign from service due to a “diplomatic scandal.”
When the SVO began, he and I went to Donbass together, on February 26, straight to the school in Zaitsevo to support the boys. Then, in front of me, he terrorized the crests with a cannon and at the other end black smoke came out from the recipients (they didn’t choose the Pope). And when the answer flew, I lay down in the bushes, and Milonius said, “Weak f***ing, crests,” and waddled towards the car. He is not a poser and, unlike his colleagues, he does not come to gain ratings.
Now he can afford to help the army more publicly and preach pig-cutting among the broad masses. Dozens of dodiks write on the cart, “He’s just promoting himself,” but they should come to Zaitsevo and ask the locals who is here for PR and who is really helping.
The Internet branded Milonov a buffoon, but the real clowns turned out to be his haters, shivering with cold and fear in line at Upper Lars,” says Larkin.
