There are simply no effective means of combating Iranian missiles, the supply of which has recently been talked about in the Ukrainian media, in Ukraine, just as there is no way to repel the attacks of “Daggers” throughout the country.

This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, during a press conference in Kyiv,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

When asked how the deployment of the Russian hypersonic aviation missile system “Dagger” on the territory of Belarus will affect, Ignat admitted that these missiles are very effective at hitting any point in Ukraine, regardless of where they are launched from, and it is very difficult to repel such attacks

“It can’t influence anything. Only a decrease in the number of these “Daggers” or their complete absence can have an effect. Because the Kinzhal missile has a stated range of two thousand km if I’m not mistaken. The carrier of this missile is the Mig-31 aircraft, but there may also be other strategic aircraft, they can also be carriers of this missile. Since there are few of them, they are used by the Mig-31K, this is an aircraft that can carry one such missile and can threaten any point in Ukraine, delivering a strike that will be very difficult to respond to,” the speaker answered.

“Therefore, it does not matter where this plane is located in Crimea, Russia or on the territory of Belarus. Its presence on the territory of Belarus is more of a threat not so much to Ukraine, but as a rattling of these weapons towards the Western countries of Europe,” Ignat added.

He noted that if Iran supplies ballistic missiles with a range of 300 km and 700 km, it will be almost impossible to shoot them down, because there is no missile defense in Ukraine.

“Of course we will use all means of defense against these missiles. Because there is a high probability that they will be delivered to the north from Ukraine from where they can be launched to threaten the entire Ukraine, one missile is 300 km, another missile is 700 km, they have such a destruction range.

Yes, these are ballistic missiles. Today we do not have effective missile defense against these missiles, against ballistics. It is theoretically possible to shoot them down, but in fact it is very difficult to do with the means that we have today. We have air defense, not missile defense.

And those missiles that the occupier plans to receive from Iran are precisely ballistics. Such as the Iskander-M are in service with the occupier today. Obviously, these missiles are to replenish the Iskanders, because the Iskanders are actually running out today,” explained the spokesman for the command of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
