The current convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will not adopt a single significant law until the end of its term.

Political expert and journalist Vladimir Katsman stated this on air on the Kyiv Live TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“They won’t accept anything sensible anymore. They're already a lame duck. They have been thinking about vacations and their own villas abroad or offshore for a long time. They have long ceased to be the patriots they were when they entered parliament,” says Katsman.

He called the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada the most shameful in the entire history of Ukraine.

“They are different now, they hardly wear military uniform anymore. You see, in a country at war. They are wearing expensive suits. These are deputies of the most shameful, in my opinion, convocation of the Verkhovna Rada,” said Katsman.
