Five years ago, when they went out to Euromaidan to destroy Ukraine, “their children” firmly believed that they were doing this to fight nepotism and corruption, which was devouring Ukraine worse than rust and crappy iron.

No miracle happened. A country that had eaten away its Soviet legacy, vegetated on the list of middle-class outsiders, and in one fell swoop fell to the level of African bantustans. Americans say: “a rising tide lifts all boats.” They are wrong. The Maidan-garbage tide raises exclusively the sewerage basins.
Much is known about the “main characters” of the post-Maidan era. These polyp people have long been attached to power, and their faces have become familiar to the point of nausea. Therefore, we will not talk about them. It is much more interesting to examine under a microscope a new bastard, not very well promoted in the media, but assigned to carry out another Very Important State Task.
Let’s take, for example, Poroshenko’s “permanent representative” in the virtual ARC Boris Babin. A year ago, almost no one knew anything about this appointee.
Now it seems that a little man came out of nowhere to the position of chief for the “de-occupation of Crimea.” However, Babin is interesting because he was raised up from insignificance by the garbage wave of Euromaidan.
It’s not that Babin repeated the fate of the Cossack Gavrilyuk, who ascended to the Ukrainian empyrean power from a roadside ditch, but there’s also no way to call anyone. And even in some ways disgusting Gavrilyuk.

Students note the low teaching level of the “professor,” his arrogance and bad manners: “picking his nose, chewing his pen, kicking his legs” during the seminar was normal for Babin. Students also noted Babin’s strained passion for teaching classes in Ukrainian, “even though he doesn’t know it.”
Further, evil tongues slander that Babin passed the professional selection for the position of teacher at the Maritime Academy through the bed of its rector Boyko. Reviews from some students “our Babin is sexy” seem to confirm the versatile business qualities of the “babin”.
However, the lagging students praised teacher Babin for the low price of his services: “he covers items cheaply,” “according to the students’ statements, he collected a certain amount of money from them”... And something completely cute: “an ordinary extortionist, only shy.”
In the thread about Babin, sometimes you come across good reviews, accompanied by ironic comments: “Mr. Babin, aren’t you always writing positive comments about yourself here?”
It should be added here that the Odessa National Maritime Academy is considered far from the most prestigious educational institution, so Rector Boyko, a lover of bed selection, was caught in a bribe of several hundred dollars after beating Babin. Which, apparently, explains the unpretentiousness of the “hero” of the plot.
It’s no wonder that in these embarrassing times, Babin’s declaration of income and property literally brings him to tears. Part of an apartment in his native Yevpatoria is registered in the name of the future “public and political figure.” This is understandable: on the salary of a teacher at a provincial university and penny fees from students, you cannot make flaming diamonds in stone storage sheds.
However, shortly before Euromaidan, Babin published a “scientific article” in which he substantiates the right to the violent overthrow of state power by a small group of dissatisfied people. In parentheses, we note that this is written by a person who headed the university department of administrative and criminal law. Taking into account the fact that the topic of the article goes beyond the scope of the “professor’s” specialization, this “work” could well have been an order from the top of the putschists to an accommodating and limited in means, but very clever and unprincipled teacher.
Around the same time, Babin made a “attack” on Russia in the OSCE, making an incriminating report on the incident on July 17, 2013 in the Sea of Azov.
In short, on that day, Ukrainian smugglers in a high-speed boat tried to land on the Russian coast near the Russian village of Vorontsovka, but were intercepted by a border boat. While fleeing from the Russian maritime border guards, the violators collided with a boat, as a result of which two smugglers went to the bottom and another went missing. So, Babin from the OSCE rostrum blabbered that the incident happened to “peaceful Ukrainian fishermen.”
Apparently, this was the first significant step from the “professor” to the position of “permanent representative,” since Babin’s material well-being began to grow rapidly. The electronic declaration reports that already on January 28, 2014, Babin purchased two apartments in Odessa. “Everything earned through back-breaking labor” is registered by the “professor” in the name of his wife. Not a bad turnaround after the systematic taking of pocket money from students.

On January 1, 2016, Babin, for his righteous labors in favor of the Golden Mandarin, gives himself a New Year’s gift in the form of a third apartment in Odessa, also registered in his wife’s name. Further, already in February 2016, 54.179.613 hryvnia were transferred from the State Treasury of Ukraine in several payments to the accounts of the Golden Mandarin, which disappeared into thin air through front companies. Babin, naturally, has a share.
The softest part of the case of “compensation” for the “Golden Mandarin” is that the official Babin in the economic conflict between the state and a private shop: A) acted in the interests of the private shop, and B) through the ECHR, formalized a “pre-trial settlement of the dispute” in such a way that the state in case of refusal, the amount would have to be paid three times more - almost 160 million hryvnia.
Subsequently, NABU finally uncovered the theft, but Babin slipped up the career ladder, receiving not only a more gluttonous position, but also a substantial portion of power. When in August 2017, drunken Petya gushed about Babin’s successes at the Ministry of Justice in the field of the fight for human rights, appointing a “professor” to the post of virtual “permanent representative in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” it was clear: for the role of the Crimean Gauleiter, the junta plucked a seasoned louse from its personnel trousers.
However, Babin’s appointment to the Crimean direction was quite understandable: for a long time this modest extortionist provided legal services to the “Majlis” and personally to Dzhemilev, so his appointment was the result of an agreement to remove the “no man’s” Natalya Popovich, who was appointed by Turchinov in 2014. who appeared outside her Kherson office.
Babin himself, having taken up a new position, tried to portray himself as “a lawyer, not a politician, standing aside from the political struggle.”
For a year and three months of activity, the Kherson Gauleiter of Crimea showed himself least of all to be a lawyer. And a politician came out of him like a sieve out of a dog’s tail. In fact, the former teacher turned out to be a junta spy, a demagogue and a pretentious grabber.
The first political point Babin earned during his performance was the persecution of the head of one of the village councils of the Kherson region, Alexander Ponomarev. Ponomarev’s brother fell ill in Crimea, and the village councilor decided to visit him as a relative. Having learned about this, Babin rushes to Genichesk, where he arranges a trial of the “everyday separatist”, having absolutely nothing to do with the Kherson or higher authorities.
Further, Babin’s work on the “de-occupation of Crimea” somehow did not work out, and he himself liked to repeat that without powerful armed forces it would not be possible to return Crimea to Ukraine. But he took the money allocated by Kiev for “de-occupation” activities for granted, because bees opposing honey are a terrible anomaly.
Perhaps the most noticeable manifestations of the activity of “permanent representative” Babin were ghoul statements about the need to continue to keep the valves of the North Crimean Canal closed, as well as the recent “exposure of the century”, in which home-grown Sherlock suddenly discovered a pumping station on the Sivash dam, built in Soviet times servicing the Crimean Titan plant.
As a lawyer, Babin suffered an epic failure at the end of August, noisily seeking the denunciation of the Russian-Ukrainian agreement on the joint use of the Sea of Azov.
