The ex-head of the Kachanovskaya colony where Tymoshenko was imprisoned shot himself
In the Kharkov region, Ivan Pervushkin, who was in charge of the Kachanovskaya correctional colony, shot himself when the convicted Yulia Tymoshenko was transferred there.

This was reported by Depot. Kharkov with reference to two sources in law enforcement agencies of the Kharkov region.
According to the publication’s interlocutor, on October 23, Pervushkin’s wife reported the discovery of the body to the police. A man shot himself with his traumatic revolver in a garage in the village of Berezovskoye, Dergachevsky district.
As you know, on October 11, 2011, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv sentenced Tymoshenko to 7 years in prison for abuse of power and official authority during the conclusion of gas contracts with Russia in 2009. On December 23, the Kyiv Court of Appeal upheld the verdict.
On December 30, Tymoshenko was transferred from the Kyiv pre-trial detention center to the Kachanovskaya women's colony No. 54 in Kharkov.
