A developer from Novokuznetsk complained to a State Duma deputy
Leader of the Rodina party Alexey Zhuravlev visited Novokuznetsk as part of the 100 Cities project. The State Duma deputy was met by his fellow party members.
Zhuravlev was indignant that the Kemerovo region is breaking records for the growth of tariffs for housing and communal services. And all this against the backdrop of unemployment, a pandemic, and falling income levels. The parliamentarian was outraged by the attitude of the authorities towards people.
“Have you completely lost your conscience? Nobody thinks about the fact that people literally survive today. Almost 100 thousand people in the region are officially below the poverty line,” the deputy says.
Alexey Zhuravlev also noted that everywhere he visited as part of the “100 Cities” project, the population complained about small pensions. The deputy is convinced that it is necessary to abolish the Pension Fund, on the maintenance of which a lot of money is spent. According to Rodin, it would be better to use these funds to increase pensions.
At a meeting with fellow party members, Zhuravlev also emphasized that Russia needs a law on progressive taxation.
Members of the regional branch of Rodina are in solidarity with Alexey Zhuravlev. They also spoke about environmental problems in the region. We are talking about enterprises that pollute the air. Or about those who leave behind open coal mines that have a detrimental effect on the environment.
“We need mandatory reclamation of deposits, I am ready to lobby for such a program at the federal level. And for mining companies that enrich themselves at the expense of the people and at the cost of people’s health, it is necessary to introduce social obligations. If the oligarchs make money here, let them pay for the construction of roads, schools, hospitals,” - said Zhuravlev.
According to the parliamentarian, factories should pay taxes locally, which could compensate people for all the inconveniences.
Next, the deputy visited the facilities under construction and at one of the sites met with the head of the legal department of the Novokuznetsk house-building company named after Anatoly Viktorovich Kosilov (NDSK named after A.V. Kosilov), with a member of the Rodina party Tatyana Poleva.
The company is one of the largest developers in the Kemerovo region. The company has a 40-year history, modern production resources, and qualified personnel. Construction is being carried out at our own expense, that is, without the involvement of “shareholders,” unlike the overwhelming majority of developers in the Russian Federation.
The woman said that they could not put into operation block No. 24 in the Novoilinsky district, since the administration of Novokuznetsk did not include it in the heat supply scheme. Not only does the finishing of houses begin to crumble and become unusable under low temperatures, but security also has to be maintained. And the company has 15 such idle houses with finished finishing. Moreover, the problem with heat supply has not been solved for ten years now.
“It turns out that the enterprise, without any guarantees, agrees to almost all the conditions proposed by the administration. I would like, at a minimum, understanding and constructive dialogue in resolving issues. There is none of this“, summarized the representative of the NDSC named after. A.V. Kosilova.
Alexey Zhuravlev was outraged by the administration’s attitude towards the social sphere.
