Thus, a resident of the republic, Vitaly Kirillov, told PolitNavigator that, contrary to the assurances of officials, in the port of Kavkaz there are no Emergencies Ministry tents, no comfortable waiting room, or even water. All these basic benefits “gone” along with the holiday season. But high prices for food in port cafes remained: a mug of coffee - 40 rubles, a liter of boiling water - 150 rubles.

“Those who were unable to cross on the last flight on Thursday waited for the ferry until today. I had to sit in the common room for five days. We slept on the seats. Those who could lay them on the floor. Naturally, you can’t really wash or eat. Nobody gave us even a liter of boiling water. Nearby, in the buffet, a woman would give a glass of water, if possible, and the young people were all about commerce—you can only get water from them for money,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

At the same time, as compensation for bad weather, passengers are given food coupons once a day. Limit – 150 rubles.

“You can use them to get 100 grams of buckwheat, sausage and tea. And this is for the whole day. Moreover, in line to get a ticket you had to stand outside at a temperature of -2. As I understand it, if the state closes the crossing, then funds should be allocated for this for those people who are left waiting there,” the Crimean resident is perplexed.

In line, Vitaly met a group of children who were going on vacation to Crimea. But after two days of “downtime,” the group leader decided to abandon the peninsula in favor of a resort in the Krasnodar Territory: “About forty schoolchildren from Vladimir wanted to get to Crimea, they spent two days at the crossing, cooking porridge over a fire. But, in the end, they couldn’t stand it and left for Sochi.”

The Minister of Transport of Crimea, Anatoly Tsurkin, in response to Vitaly Kirillov’s complaint on his page on the social network, assures that a similar situation has arisen only from the side of the Kavkaz port. In Crimea, the waiting conditions are better.

“On the territory of the port of Crimea, heating points, tea, food, Wi-Fi, TV - everything is free. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the other side - this is the Krasnodar region. I hope that when the powers of the Unified Transport Directorate are transferred to Crimea, there will be no such problems,” the official assures.
