At 10.00:25 Sunday the wind force was 30 m/s with gusts up to XNUMX m/s. According to forecasters, such weather conditions will persist in the coming days.
Currently, the following are waiting in line for loading on the cargo line: in the port of Novorossiysk - 225 trucks, in the Kerch fishing port - 445. In the ports of Kavkaz and Crimea, up to 200 passenger cars have accumulated in the queue.
“Over the previous XNUMX hours, ferries were unable to make a single trip across the Kerch Strait. Passengers traveling using the “single ticket” system are temporarily accommodated in the “Kyiv” sanatorium in Kerch, the “Flamingo” hotel in Golubitskaya station,” notes ETD.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Kerch crossing was closed on Friday at 22.00 due to increased wind. In addition to freight transportation and the movement of passenger vehicles, bus service between Crimea and the mainland Russian Federation was completely paralyzed. Sales of tickets for intercity buses traveling through the strait have been stopped until weather conditions improve.
The storm warning has been extended on the peninsula until October 26.
