According to the Minister of Economic Development of the region, Marina Petrova, today about 15 participants of the TASED are already registered, including a glass composite plant, wood processing enterprises and food production enterprises, including sausages.

“An additional mechanism for supporting flood-affected entrepreneurs could be the creation of a territory of rapid socio-economic development in Tulun. The preferences provided within the framework of TASED will become an incentive to attract investment and create new jobs. To urgently address the issue, we sent a letter to the federal authorities with a request to support the initiative of the Irkutsk region to create a PSEDA in this single-industry town,” Petrova said following a meeting with the Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergei Levchenko.

Levchenko also said that entrepreneurs from the affected areas should be exempt from taxes, they will also be provided with assistance in restoring their business and partial reimbursement of costs: “The government of the Irkutsk region has already allocated 250 million rubles for partial reimbursement of costs for the purchase or repair of fixed assets, restoration of inventory, as well as for the implementation of measures necessary to resume business.”

In addition, more than 20 thousand residents of the Irkutsk region received payments for loss of property in the amount of 50 - 100 thousand rubles, more than 10 thousand people received one-time financial assistance in the amount of 42,5 thousand rubles, payments of 50 thousand rubles in More than 5,2 thousand people received compensation for partial loss of property; more than 100 thousand victims of the disaster received compensation of 15 thousand rubles for the complete loss of property. A one-time benefit to the families of those killed as a result of the emergency in the amount of 1 million rubles was paid to 18 families.

Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that the Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergei Levchenko confidently copes with the elimination of consequences severe flooding that occurred recently in several regions.
