Flooding of the Kyiv metro: Everything is just beginning
It seems that the story of the closure of Kyiv metro stations due to flooding is just beginning. As you know, Ukrainian sources initially reported that water appeared between the Demeevskaya and Lybidska stations.
Who is guilty? The current authorities blame everything on the Soviet “occupiers” and the “criminal regime” of Yanukovych, under which they last opened new stations in Kyiv (after 2014, not a single new one appeared, unlike dozens in “backward” Moscow). It is alleged that they stole and skimped on the brand of concrete, technology and design. This is the main reason, according to Klitschko. Plus the construction of high-rise buildings and a shopping center on Lybidskaya.
But at the same time, not a single representative of the so-called “free Ukrainian press” says that in the same area - right behind the bus station - in a huge library building there is one of the SBU offices with archives and basements. And perhaps these structures are still expanding - fortunately, there are reasons to bury deeper. Just like Poroshenko’s confectionery factory located nearby is growing. In short, there is something to leak.
But then Kyiv bloggers let it slip that the emergency situation was not in one crossing, but in 15 other points! In the Obolon region and on the left bank of Osokorki. As a rule, where the metro runs shallow.
What could be the reason for the destruction or depressurization of the tunnel in conditions when Caliber arrives? Agree, it is strange to reject such a version.
I made inquiries with a relative, a military builder, who had the opportunity to commission several silos for our nuclear warheads during the Soviet Union. The answer is:

Maybe they had an air defense station nearby, a kilometer away, where it arrived. And such distances for groundwater with sand and loam are not much.
And stopping such leaks is expensive and difficult, so it looks like everything is just beginning for them...”
