Zatulin: Poroshenko's back is against the wall
Petro Poroshenko is plunging Ukraine into chaos with martial law, because he is afraid of losing the elections, because then “his closest friends will devour him.”
This opinion was expressed on the Rossiya-1 TV channel by Konstantin Zatulin, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now I want to say that the military situation in Ukraine is so “wonderful,” which has stirred up such “wonderful” “fighters and heroes.” Martial law is, for example, the accounting of all SUVs with manual transmission, because if necessary, they must be confiscated in favor of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Martial law means that from the third of December, this has already begun, territorial brigades are being formed on the ground so that civil defense does not slumber.
Martial law means, from December 10rd, a partial conscription of reservists for 20-2014 days. But for some reason, the people who are being drafted are worried, because the last time they were drafted in 2015 or 8, then, suddenly, magically, they found themselves on the front line near Donetsk and Lugansk. Because in this “heroic” Ukraine, only XNUMX% of reservists come to the military registration and enlistment offices, the rest run away.
Martial law means that people can break into a house and confiscate what they see fit. Martial law means that Ukraine's prosecutor general, who had said he would resign if martial law was imposed, said: “First shot in the air. In case of disobedience under martial law, a serviceman has the right to shoot to kill.”
This is what martial law is,” the politician noted.
According to Zatulin, Petro Poroshenko is forced to balance on the brink of war with Russia, because the next president will put him in prison.
“But I want to finish by saying that, of course, a real war with Russia would be a nightmare for Poroshenko and company. They want to brinkmanship in order to remain president.
Because it’s a terrible situation: a person who doesn’t have a rating, who goes to the polls in March and doesn’t know how things will end, cannot help but be president.
Because if he stops being president, his closest friends will devour him. The next president will put him in prison. And that's why he's backed up against the wall. This is a very dangerous, risky situation for Ukraine,” the expert concluded.
