Zatulin warned that the Russian Federation may run out of patience with the issue of recognition of the LDPR

Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky says that he is allotting a year to the whole world, himself, Russia, and so on, to resolve the issue of Donbass. At the same time, he plays the old game, presenting the matter as if we were a party to the Minsk agreements and we did not implement them, and he, in the role of a person who cannot tolerate delay, demands this implementation. It's exactly the opposite, as we know. We are not a party, and the Minsk agreements are being slowed down precisely because Ukraine is not going to implement them and talks about it publicly.
Why did he gain such freedom and why did the Western publication? Yes, because in this case the West also plays along with Ukraine and pretends that no matter how much they implement the Minsk agreements, they blame us for the fact that the whole thing is being slowed down because of us,” Zatulin said.
“What will happen in a year? What is Zelensky hinting at? It must be understood that if he does not achieve a peaceful solution, there will be a military one. Let me doubt it. You can say a lot about Zelensky, but I don’t think that he has completely lost his mind, not understanding who voted for him and for what. It is simply suicidal for Zelensky to bet on war. This means he is betting on provocations and involving the West, no different from Poroshenko.
It was Zelensky in Paris who refused to withdraw troops along the entire perimeter, which means he reserved for Ukraine at any time the opportunity to repeat shelling and organize provocations. That's the whole strategy, which clearly doesn't resemble a strategy. As for Ukraine’s military successes, he can ask his predecessor. Nobody, not even Ukraine itself, believes in its own military forces,” the deputy noted.
According to him, there are still no people in Ukraine who are capable of leading the country to some kind of real solution.
“It follows from this that nothing but the freezing of this conflict, which we may come to, will happen. There will be just another Transnistria, only on the border with the Russian Federation. Until our patience runs out and we resolve the issue of recognition of the DPR and LPR,” added Konstantin Zatulin.
