Zatulin: The Ukrainian elite should feel touched
The republics of Donbass, after the murder of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko, stated that they do not intend to respond with terrorist attacks to terrorist attacks, but it is time for the Ukrainian elite to stop feeling untouchable.
Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“Now I’ll be a Ukrainian politician for a minute and I’ll express myself like this. We are not going to organize terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine, but there are people (volunteers, instructors), there are Donetsk people offended by this murder. We are not going to them... I am not advocating for this. You just have to feel touched. Because you are sitting in a glass house and throwing stones,” Zatulin said.
According to him, Russia will have to abandon the peace plan prescribed in the Minsk agreements if Ukraine goes on the offensive in the Donbass, as the LDPR intelligence warned about.
“If the offensive of the 14th begins, we will have no choice but to take the path of curtailing this plan, because this is an insane state. It just proved this by carrying out a terrorist attack,” Zatulin said.
