Konstantin Zatulin stated this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“The establishment of posts on the border of Transnistria on the Ukrainian side completed the actual blockade of the PMR, which has been carried out all this time. On this issue, all the authorities of Moldova, including President Dodon, were in solidarity,” Zatulin said.
He recalled the initiative of the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Adrin Candu, who proposed demanding compensation from Russia for the presence of the peacekeeping contingent in Transnistria.
“He is not yet ready to bill us for the Soviet occupation, but he is already thinking about it. But he offers to pay for our peacekeepers who stopped the bloodshed,” Zatulin was indignant.
