“Put down the slurp!” – Babchenko and Belkovsky staged a public squabble
Nobody was going to kill the Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko, and the entire SBU operation to “rescue” him was carried out for the PR of Petro Poroshenko with an eye on the presidential elections.
The Russian liberal political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky, known for supporting the “Orange Revolution” and Euromaidan, and the ex-husband of the Ukrainian “political scientist” Olesya Yakhno, stated this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

At the same time, the “saved” person himself responded to criticism addressed to him laconically.

Let us note that on the eve of the skirmish, Belkovsky published an expose of the staging of Babchenko’s murder.
“I suggested that the Ukrainian security forces, under the pretext of a fictitious assassination attempt on Arkady Babchenko, want to take 30 (47) journalists and public figures under protection in order to closely control them. Especially close are their possible contacts with opposition candidates for the presidency of Ukraine and/or sponsors of such candidates.
