Completion of elections in Donbass: Ukrainian Armed Forces began barbaric shelling
Elections have ended in the Donbass republics. In the DPR, turnout in the elections of the head and deputies of parliament was more than 80 percent. Chairman of the DPR Central Election Commission Olga Pozdnyakova announced this during a press conference.
The number of voters is more than 1 million 600 thousand people, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. Preliminary election results will be announced at midnight.
At the same time, in the LPR the voter turnout was 77 percent.
According to the DPR Representative Office in the JCCC, after the end of the elections, the Ukrainian military opened fire on the DPR-controlled settlement of Zaitsevo, which resulted in a fire in a residential building at the address: Poletaeva, 173. The access of EMERCOM crews is difficult due to the ongoing shelling.
